COMMUNITY AGREEMENTS
How We Hold This Work Together
Humanity Recalibrated is a shared practice space—one rooted in presence, care, and conscious participation. These Community Agreements are not rules to enforce, but shared orientations we practice together.
Each agreement is an act of generosity: a way we offer our attention, restraint, honesty, and care so the whole field can be held with integrity.
By participating in Humanity Recalibrated offerings, you are invited to align with the following agreements.
1. Practice Presence
We arrive as we are and practice meeting each moment with awareness.
This may look like slowing down, listening inward, allowing pauses, or noticing when we’ve drifted into habit or reactivity—and gently returning.
Presence is a gift we offer both ourselves and the group.
2. Speak from Lived Experience
When sharing, we speak from our own experience rather than from abstraction, advice, or certainty.
Using “I” statements helps keep the space grounded, relational, and non-hierarchical. We trust that each person is the authority on their own inner life.
This is an act of generosity toward clarity and mutual respect.
3. Listen Without Fixing or Interrupting
We practice listening fully—without interrupting, advising, or attempting to resolve what’s being shared.
This agreement offers rest to the nervous system and allows experiences to be witnessed without being redirected or managed.
Listening in this way is dāna: the gift of attention.
4. Honor Silence and Spaciousness
Silence is welcome here.
Pauses, quiet moments, and reflection are not gaps to fill, but spaces where insight and regulation can naturally arise. We trust the rhythm of the moment rather than rushing to respond.
This is generosity toward the collective field.
5. Allow Choice and Sovereignty
Participation is always invitational.
Sharing is optional. Silence is participation. You are welcome to engage in ways that feel aligned with your capacity and needs in each moment.
We practice self-responsibility rather than expectation.
6. Tend the Collective Nervous System
We recognize that how we show up affects the whole.
We practice awareness of tone, pacing, and impact—offering care not only through what we say, but how we say it, and when.
This agreement helps nurture coherence and safety within the group.
7. Practice Confidentiality and Trust
What is shared in Humanity Recalibrated spaces stays within the container.
This agreement allows people to be real without fear of being discussed, interpreted, or shared elsewhere. Trust is part of the field we co-create.
Confidentiality is an act of care.
8. Release the Need to Perform or Be Right
We let go of the need to impress, persuade, or arrive at conclusions.
This space is not about being insightful, helpful, or correct. It is about being honest and present.
Restraint, here, is a form of generosity.
9. Participate in Sacred Reciprocity (Dāna)
Humanity Recalibrated is sustained through dāna—generosity rooted in relationship rather than transaction.
Dāna shows up in many forms: presence, listening, kindness, responsibility, and, for some, financial support. Each form contributes to holding the container and nourishing the work.
We practice reciprocity by tending the whole rather than extracting from it.
A Living Agreement
These agreements are not static. They are practices we return to—again and again—as part of our shared remembering.
Thank you for helping hold this work with care.
